• What’s more popular in Maryland right now: legalization, or President Joe Biden? The answer is marijuana legalization, and it wasn’t too close of a race. Voters in Maryland were in favor of legalization at 60%, while 53% of the residents are currently happy with President Biden.
• Interestingly, support for legalization has fallen just a bit since this voter group was last polled — that majority support is seven percentage points lower than when Marylanders were last asked about it in March. • The forward momentum is, ultimately, exciting and promising: The House Cannabis Referendum and Legalization Workgroup held its first meeting last month.
